About us

We, Silke & Juergen, are living together with our dogs Banjo and Fali in the Taunus area close to Frankfurt.

Our passion for dogs started early when we were kids because we always had dogs as members of our family.

After 2 years without dogs we decided to share our lifes with a dog again; this time it should be a Rhodesian Ridgeback. First we read relevant books, then we were checking the internet for information about litters. After we saw the picture of Banjos father ‘Ye Japha Banjoko’ we decided to have a kid of this wonderful dog.

In 2007 17 “faultless puppies” were born in the Kennel Isanusi. Since end of May 2007 “Banjo”, a male puppy is a member of our family.
Banjo grew up and when he was 2 years old, we decided it was time for a second dog.
It took one and a half year to find an appropriate female partner for Banjo. Her name is Fali Bukeka from the well known Kennel Shangani, she became the new member of our family in November 2010.

Our two Ridgebacks really enrich our life and we cannot imagine living without them at all.

So we follow the motto:
Only one Ridgeback is like no Ridgeback

It may be possible to live without dogs but it is not worthwhile doing so.
